Digitise documents with the fileeeBox

The attachment of the fileeeBox makes scanning with your smartphone easier than ever: Simply place your mobile phone on the attachment. The built-in NFC chip automatically opens the fileee app and scans your document. Thanks to the attachment, you always have the perfect distance and the right light thanks to the integrated LEDs. So you can scan quickly and easily without blurring.

You then simply place the document in the box - without filing or sorting. If you ever need the original, the fileee app shows you where the document is in the box using the colour scale.

Quick set up and dismantling

Thanks to the integrated magnets, you can set up and take down the scan attachment in just a few seconds.

Barcode

Each box has an individual barcode that is recognised when it is scanned. This way, the app knows in which box the document is placed.

Colour scale

If you need a document from the box, the fileee app shows in which colour range and at which height it can be found.

Lighting

Two LED strips are integrated in the attachment to provide the right light for scanning. Particularly practical when scanning in the evening.

NFC

If you place your smartphone on the attachment, the fileee app automatically starts in scan mode. The scanning process is also automated.

fileeeBox - The most frequently asked questions

WILL THERE BE FURTHER COSTS FOR ME?

No. The use of the fileeeBox only incurs the one-off costs listed here for the purchase of the individual products. All documents scanned with the fileeeBox do not burden the monthly upload limit of 15 documents, so no additional premium subscription is necessary.

WHERE ARE THE DOCUMENTS STORED?

The documents are stored encrypted in the cloud. Our servers and thus also your documents and data are protected by the stricter German data protection law. No one but you has access to your documents, not even we as fileee GmbH are allowed to access your documents. More information under security.

WHAT IF YOU NEED A DOCUMENT FROM THE BOX IN THE ORIGINAL?

For each scanned document, the fileee app remembers in which box and at which height within the box the document is located and displays this accordingly in the app. After you have taken a document out of the box, you can either put it in the same place or, after removing it and adding it again, simply put it back in the topmost place.

DO I NEED THE SCAN ATTACHMENT?

With the help of the attachment, you can produce high-quality scans because the smartphone rests quietly and the LEDs integrated into the attachment illuminate the document perfectly. In addition, the attachment contains an NFC chip that automatically starts the fileee app in scan mode. Those who still prefer to scan manually or use a commercially available scanner can also do so.

HOW CAN I TRANSFER DOCUMENTS DIRECTLY FROM AN EXTERNAL SCANNER TO FILEEE OR MY FILEEBOX?

If your scanner has a Scan2Mail function, you can use this to assign the documents directly to a fileeeBox.
E-mails forwarded to your fileee e-mail address are automatically transferred to your fileee account. You can use the subject of the e-mail to tag the documents directly and assign them to a fileeeBox. For example, if you write #Tax in the subject, the tag " Tax" will be added to the document. With the term @box1, the document is automatically assigned to your first box. This function is available for all users.

HOW IS THE PRICE OF THE FILEEEBOX PRODUCTS MADE UP?

As a fileeeBox user, you benefit twice: the documents scanned with the box do not burden the monthly upload limit and are included directly in the price (600 documents). The fileee app required to use the box is also free in the basic version.
