Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox have long since become part of everyday digital life. These systems are particularly useful for tax returns, as they can be operated from many different devices. Today I want to show you the simple steps you can take to use your Drive even more efficiently.
OneDrive is now pre-installed by default on all Windows PCs. You can store your files as in any other folder and they are automatically synchronised with the cloud. This is now also possible with Dropbox and Google Drive. So you can drag your digital documents directly from the folder on your PC into the tax return.
The big advantage of the cloud system is that I can move my train ticket, which I want to deduct later as income-related expenses, to the appropriate folder even on someone else's PC.
To really have everything ready for my tax return, I still have to digitise my analogue documents. There are several ways to do this.
Copiers: With most modern copiers, I can now send my scans directly to my PC or to my cloud.
fileee: The fileee app for Android and iOS can conveniently scan documents on the go with your smartphone and analyse them directly. This way I immediately have all my documents digitally.
Unfortunately, cloud services such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox cannot use the most important advantage of digitalisation: The automatic analysis and sorting of my documents. For that I have fileee.
With fileee, I can import documents from all my cloud systems and merge them with my scanned analogue documents. Thanks to the intelligent analysis, my files are automatically sorted by sender. The full text search also allows me to find documents in a flash. If you still want to sort them yourself, it's easy with tags. Here we show you how you can save time by simply presorting your documents.
So you can start your tax return well prepared and use your clouds even more effectively.
