Strengthened by gingerbread and speculoos, our developers have of course been working diligently on new features for you in December. For example, our search function is now even faster and offers many comfort improvements. In addition, corporate customers will in future have the opportunity to switch to a business account with some practical features. This allows you to store your company name in your profile and upload a logo for communication with customers or business partners. And for all those who use DATEV, we also have some helpful tips for automating bookkeeping.
The search function is one of the most important and most used features of fileee. Therefore, we have put a lot of work behind the scenes into improving the search. For example, the new search is 30% faster when opening documents. Within a search, you also get back to the exact starting point of the search after closing a document. This makes it even easier and faster to search through many documents. We have also added new search filters to the web app. For example, the search can now be limited to a certain period of time. It is also possible to filter for documents without sender, recipient or tags.
Update: Currently, the conversion of an account is only possible for new customers and not for existing fileee customers. At the beginning of March, we will activate the first of several new functions for business customers. From then on, it will also be possible for existing customers to switch to a business account. With our latest release, we are introducing business accounts. With the differentiation between private and business customers, we can adapt fileee even better to the respective needs. For example, in future it will be possible to store the company name and an additional contact e-mail address for a business account. This enables an even better analysis of uploaded documents.
In the settings of the business accounts, the company colours and a logo can also be stored. When communicating with customers or external partners, this is used to personalise the account and clearly identify the company as the sender. This information is also automatically used for other features such as the digital attendance list. This means that no additional settings need to be made.
Please note that the possibility of switching to a business account is possible step by step. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to switch from a business account back to a private account. However, this will also be possible in the future, and we will keep you up to date on this. In the future, we want to differentiate between private and business accounts to ensure that every user can use the features and functions of fileee that are best for him or her and that the app remains clear at the same time. Only features relevant to companies are not displayed to private customers. There will be many innovations here in the future, so stay tuned.
With the DATEV Light integration, you can now easily file your documents in both DATEV and fileee in one step. Use the advantages of fileee and carry out your bookkeeping in DATEV Enterprise Online in a legally compliant manner.
By using a scanner designed for this purpose, it is possible to save documents in fileee under a specific tag and upload them to DATEV Unternehmen Online with just one click. To do this, you need to connect the scanner to fileee via the Scan2Mail feature, insert the document, scan it and fileee will do the rest for you. If you outsource your bookkeeping to your tax advisor, your current bookkeeping is done. Your tax advisor is happy that he no longer gets shuttle folders or unstructured PDF documents and you can now fully concentrate on your business.How exactly you connect your scanner with fileee and automatically assign tags, we explain in the following blog post.
