What's new with fileee? This update brings new features for managing documents. Sharing, downloading and also the view of your contacts have been revised and help you to work even faster with fileee.
We've made it easier to share documents in fileee, so you can get to your selection faster. If you want to share documents, you can now select via the share icon whether you want to share them with a space, via a link or with one of your contacts. You can also enter an email address directly here if it does not already belong to a contact.
Whether you select several documents or just one: the sharing process is the same on all devices and works similarly in the web app, for iOS or Android. This way you can easily organise your documents on your PC or smartphone.
Sharing within the team also works in this way. With fileee Teams you can reach your own team faster. If you want to share a document with a contact, your team members will appear first in the selection at the top of your contacts. In the next update, you will also be able to see the roles of the team members directly in the contact view. Read more about rights and roles in fileee teamshere.
We have also redesigned the view of your contacts and adapted it to the new look of the web app. In the contact view, you can now see all the important information about the contact at a glance. Previously, the address information in the sidebar was not so easy to see. We have now brought this out. In addition to contact information such as addresses or phone numbers, you can also see documents, messages and spaces that you have shared with this contact, as usual.
You can now view other addresses belonging to this contact under Show all addresses. We have also added a map that shows the respective address. The new design makes it easier for you to view and manage your contacts.
We have also created a new helpdesk for you, which you can now find in your account under "Help centre". Here you will find answers to all your questions about fileee. The fileee knowledge base is a library of instructions and contains troubleshooting measures as well as tips and tricks for using fileee.
