The time-eater: paperwork
After the foundation in 2018 and the strong growth of AWARE7, paperwork turned out to be a particular time eater. As a young and primarily digital company, they wanted to rely on paper as little as possible and keep their work processes efficient and streamlined. Since the end of 2021, they have relied on fileee's document management system.

The challenge
With around 250 documents each month, 45% of which are still paper, it was particularly important for Matteo and Chris to have a system for both digital and analog documents. But as a cybersecurity company, security and DSGVO compliance were of course also top priorities.
"We landed on fileee quite quickly because we wanted a simple solution that would free up our time and be easy for employees to use. The intuitive UI meant it was no problem for our employees to learn how to use fileee."

The solution
By using fileee as a DMS, AWARE7 was able to convert several processes and thus save around 15 hours of working time every month. To do this, AWARE7 uses all import methods with fileee: smartphone scans while on the road, for example, for receipts for travel expenses, scanning and filing of analog mail in the office with fileeeBox, or the automated email import for digital documents. In addition, the company works with the metadata and tags and creates fileeeSpaces for long-term projects to organize related documents. This also facilitates accounting, and the Lexoffice connection takes care of the rest. However, AWARE7 also uses the full-text search:
