According to a BITKOM study from 2013, only about one in eight digitises their documents - but what's the reason? Neither the providers nor the technical devices to digitally archive your documents are lacking. With your smartphone and various scanning apps on the market, you actually have the tools to scan your documents and take advantage of digital document management. We believe that the market has ignored an important fact so far: There is still a need for archiving many originals!

Anyone who works on a product eventually reaches the point where distance is lacking. At some point, a routine and familiarity sets in that makes it difficult to assess one's own product objectively. If you accept your own subjectivity and are open to feedback from outside, you have already won a lot.

A lot happened at fileee in 2014. In addition to many innovations under the surface (e.g. stability and speed of the web app), this year we have, among other things, completely re-released our iOS app and also added many new functions to our Android app.

In the meantime, fileee has been around for quite a long time. In all that time, we have received enquiries from you. Many are interested in the company behind our service, have basic questions about security or about the founding idea of fileee.
