What's new in fileee? We've added new features to the web app! You can now store documents in an audit-proof way with just one click, there is now also a document history and new cool extras in the filter settings.

We are still moving... But a lot has already happened. Now we want to bring you up to date on our server move. In May we announced that our servers would be moving to make fileee even better for you.

... that means first and foremost that we can make fileee even better for you. Due to our constant growth, our servers will be moving in the near future. Thereby we would like to offer you a higher performance. Due to the new data centre providers, we are switching our operation to a container-based technology (Kubernetes).

On 25 May, the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force. The internet has been bombarded with information, details and precautionary measures for quite some time. The most important thing in advance is that the use of fileee and our new C2B platform is DSGVO-compliant. As a business customer, you can request a contract for commissioned data processing here.

An honest approach to security and data protection is a top priority at fileee. In order to protect your data in the best possible way, we use a special form of encryption. You can read more about how this works in this article. We have tried to explain everything as simply as possible - even if it gets a bit technical in places.

Nowadays, a piece of paper and a pen are no longer enough to keep track of one's passwords. We have numerous accounts for which we have to remember not only passwords, but also email addresses, user names or security questions. To simplify things, we often use the same easy-to-remember password for all our accounts. Yet we actually know that this makes it easy for hackers to gain access to our private accounts and data.
