Update of the data protection provisions within the framework of the DSGVO - contract for commissioned data processing (ADV) for business customers

On 25 May, the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force. The internet has been bombarded with information, details and precautionary measures for quite some time. The most important thing in advance is that the use of fileee as well as our New C2B Platform is DSGVO-compliant. As a business customer, you can request a contract for commissioned data processing here.

The most important facts about the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

       
• will apply from 25 May.
• regulates the processing of personal data by companies.
• gives you the right to ask providers what personal data about you is stored and shared.
• allows you to have your personal data deleted by the providers after termination.
• is monitored by the data protection authorities of the 16 federal states.

In the wake of the GDPR, we are updating our privacy policy for existing customers, effective from 25 May 2018. If you use fileee for your private paperwork, you don't need to do anything else.

If you use fileee for business purposes and process personal data in this context, you will need a contract for commissioned data processing (ADV) with us from 25 May. We have recommended the conclusion of such a contract to all business customers of fileee up to now, but in the course of the DSGVO such a contract will become mandatory.
