In addition to Dropbox, GoogleDrive and mail accounts, many of you have asked for more options to import documents from other services. We have taken this as an opportunity to support a whole range of new services. Here is an overview of the new options:
OneDrive The first new service is OneDrive - formerly SkyDrive - the cloud service from Microsoft. With 15GB, you have just as much space as with GoogleDrive. For Office 365 users there is even unlimited storage space. To link your OneDrive account with fileee, simply click on "Set up OneDrive Sync" under "Connected Services" in the fileee web app. You will then be redirected to the Microsoft login page where you enter your access data. You can then select individual folders to be synchronised with fileee.
box Another cloud service that was at the top of your list and can now also be linked to fileee is Box. This will import your documents from your Box account to fileee: In the fileee web app, select "Set up Box Sync" under "Connected Services". You will then be redirected to the box login page where you can enter your access data. Just as with OneDrive, you can then select the folders to be synchronised with fileee.
Many more services are made possible by WebDAV integration. WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is a standard for making files available on the Internet. WebDAV allows you to access your data as if it were an online hard drive. All services that support WebDAV as an interface - and there are a lot of them - can now be linked to fileee. All you need to link to fileee is the WebDAV address of the service and your login data, instructions can be found here. For 5 German services we have already made the addresses available as a drop-down menu:
Your preferred service is not listed or does not support WebDAV? Write to us in the comments or so that we can make the service available.
