After the move, especially the processing speed of documents, the synchronisation of the different services and also search problems should be improved. In addition, the loading times of the web app in particular should also improve. So all in all, everything will be a little better and faster than it was before.
Our new servers will be located in Germany in the future. After a thorough selection process and an intensive test phase, we decided on the Open Telekom Cloud, provided by Telekom Deutschland GmbH. In addition, we will have another secondary data centre provider in the future, iNNOVO Cloud GmbH from Frankfurt.
From the physical security of the data centres to certified data protection and strict quality guidelines, the OTC meets the highest standards. Thus, the OTC is of course 100% DSGVO-compliant. The data centres were built according to the twin-core principle, are located exclusively in Germany and are strictly guarded data fortresses that are among the most modern and secure facilities worldwide. OTC is also a pioneer in terms of sustainability. For example, the data centres consume 30% less energy than conventional data centres in Germany.
