A lot happened at fileee in 2014. In addition to many innovations under the surface (e.g. stability and speed of the web app), this year we have, among other things, completely re-released our iOS app and also added many new functions to our Android app.

In the meantime, fileee has been around for quite a long time. In all that time, we have received enquiries from you. Many are interested in the company behind our service, have basic questions about security or about the founding idea of fileee. We have collected your questions from the fileee support forum, from Facebook and your emails and talked to Marius, the managing director of fileee. The result is an interview.

Students of business informatics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) Münster have developed a file management app for Windows 8 and all common mobile platforms in a project seminar ("Cloud Services for Students"). The goals of this project seminar were the conception, development and implementation of a cloud prototype for internal university use by students and lecturers.

The new version of the fileee Android app is now available in the Google Play Store. To make the release perfect, we have provided support for additional devices. Now the fileee app should work without problems on the vast majority of smartphones.
