Through many small and large activities, people find their way better and better in their new home. In cooperation with the district of Dachau in Bavaria, we have developed the "integration passport" based on fileee. The integration passport helps organise documents in the integration process and offers discounts on cultural offers and regional shops through a voucher system.
As part of the overall project "Integration with a sense of proportion" (IMA), the integration pass was presented last Thursday in Dachau. In addition to District Administrator Stefan Löwl, Bavarian Minister of State Marcel Huber was also present, who was enthusiastic about both the integration pass and the overall project:
"Something is being tackled here. I would like all 71 districts and 25 independent cities in Bavaria to introduce this system - that would make life easier."
The integration passport is intended to recognise migrants' integration efforts and promote participation in cultural and other regional offerings. The app helps with this as an assistant for keeping and submitting documents. The proof of participation in integration offers, such as language and integration courses, can be photographed with the app and then submitted electronically. After successful verification of the submitted documents, points are credited. The points collected can then be redeemed for vouchers for regional offers. These include, for example, visits to music schools, museums or shopping at local shops. In the selection of redemption options, the focus is primarily on offers that promote communication and coexistence.
In addition to promoting integration measures and further offers, the integration passport is also intended to help manage the multitude of documents needed in the integration process more easily. As with fileee, the documents and certificates can be sorted by topic with the help of tags. This creates an overview of all documents that are needed for visits to the authorities or application processes. This means that documents can be exchanged digitally directly at an appointment, missing documents can be retrieved and proof can be provided, or application documents can be submitted more easily.
