Germany is planning the energy turnaround, we are building wind turbines and investing in solar energy. So we are being particularly careful with our environment? Wrong! Let fileee open your eyes a little...
Paper and paper products have been around for seemingly half an eternity - we probably couldn't imagine our daily lives without them. And although there are more and more documents in digital form and although more and more computers are in use, there is no end to the flood of paper. Industrialised countries in particular have a large share in this. Would you like a small example? Germany alone consumes as much paper as the continents of Africa and South America combined. If we now compare the number of inhabitants and the areas, we have to ask ourselves: Why is our consumption so high? Are we too bureaucratic? And above all: what are we doing with it? 75,000 trees are needed every week for the Sunday edition of the New York Times. That's a pretty big forest to be cutting down, isn't it? And to give you an idea: Every hour, an area of about 50 football fields of forest is destroyed worldwide.
Do we really want to continue to support this kind of thing with our paper consumption? What can we do about it? First of all, you don't have to carelessly print or copy every scrap of paper. This saves paper, money, space - and time, if at some point you have to tidy up or throw away all the paperwork. Our contribution is the paperless office. With our help, you can reduce your paper consumption and easily archive, forward, etc. your documents.
