If you use fileee and the fileeeBox, this is no reason to throw away your scanner. Modern scanners often have a practical scan-to-mail function with which you can send the scans to your fileee account.
Many new scanners or multifunction devices have a Scan2Mail function where you can set up one or more email addresses. Your scanner sends the scans to these addresses. Of course, you can also send the scans to your fileee account. The best way to do this is to use your personal fileee upload email address according to the scheme nutzername.XXXX@my.fileee.com.
Log in to the fileee app. In the web app or mobile app, click on your user name at the top and select the menu item "My account". Here you will see your personal fileee email address for uploading documents. Here are some more instructions.
If you have set up your personal fileee email address via the Scan2Mail function of your scanner, all scans are automatically imported into your fileee account. You can also tag the subject of the email and assign the attachment directly to a box. For example, if you write #Tax in the subject, the tag Tax will be added to the document. This only works with tags that you have already created in the fileee app.
A high volume of scans is of course much easier to manage with a scanner than with a smartphone. Nevertheless, you do not have to do without the archiving advantage of the fileeeBox. Here, too, the assignment works via the subject of the email. With the term @box1, the document is automatically assigned to your first box.
With some scanners you can also pre-configure the subject of the emails so that your tags and box are automatically selected.
